Zero Waste Zone open day

The Zero Waste Zone is an exciting, interactive centre that showcases ways to repurpose and rethink waste.

Visitors can wander the experience trail, which is built completely from waste materials that have been given a second life. Here you can see how nature makes no waste, get close up to worms and learn the basics of worm farming, composting and Bokashi.

There’s also the opportunity to get your hands dirty in the Make Space zone, equipped with real tools for turning rubbish into sculptures, instruments, games and more.
