North Shore

Urban areas (in dark purple) will be using the bin and tag system. Bags will not be collected.

Rural areas (in light purple) will have the option to use bins and tags, or to continue using bags.

Papakura

Properties within the urban boundary (darker green, area E), are eligible for both the food scraps service and the pay-as-you-throw wheelie bin rubbish service. 

Properties within the rural boundary (lighter green, areas F), are not eligible for the food scraps service and can choose to use the pay-as-you-throw wheelie bin service or continue to use orange bags.

West Auckland

The pay as you throw bin tag service is available to all streets that currently use Auckland Council’s orange bags in the Henderson-Massey, Waitākere Ranges and parts of the Whau and Upper Harbour Local Board areas. These areas are in green and purple below.

Suburbs include West Harbour, Massey West, Massey East, Te Atatu Peninsula, Te Atatu South, Lincoln Road, Henderson, Ranui, Swanson, Western Heights, McLaren Park, Glen Eden, Titirangi, Glendene, Green Bay, New Lynn and Kelston.  Areas west of the Greenhithe Bridge; Hobsonville, Herald Island and Whenuapai are also included.
